From Ben: Thank you for all of your support!

Thank you so much to everyone that believed in us, that block walked with us, that donated to us, that voted for us and gave us love and support.

This past year has been one of the true joys of my life. My wife and I welcomed into the world the most precious daughter and we both poured our heart and soul into a campaign that fought for the future that we believe in. I’m so proud of the effort that we made and of the campaign that we ran. I’m so grateful to our wonderful staff and volunteers who worked so tirelessly, and overjoyed and humbled by all the wonderful Houstonians that we got to know.

Despite how hard we fought, we did not win, and the pain of our loss was magnified by the pain of the loss our party and ideas suffered in the Presidential race.

Though we will miss this campaign profoundly, neither Laura or myself would trade the experience for anything in the world, regardless of the outcome. And we will fight on. We will continue to stand for the values and ideas, and for the state and country that we believe in. We will continue to fight so that our daughter and all of our sons and daughters have the Texas and America we all deserve.

With sincere love and gratitude,

Ben Rose

In Houston, Republican Sarah Davis’ (HD 134) campaign mail avoids all mention of her Republican party affiliation, claims “independent-minded leadership”, touts the hard work of Democratic lawmakers, and even attempts to claim Gov. Ann Richards.

Republican Sarah Davis asks voters to look at her voting record for proof that she puts principle over party, so we did:” READ MORE HERE

Ben is ENDORSED by Texas State Employees Union – CWA Local 6186

Over the weekend, Texas State Employees Union – CWA Local 6186, a group of 11,000 members across the state including TSEU members who live in HD 134, endorsed Ben Rose in Texas House District 134 for his commitment to advocate for state employees and quality state services for the people of Texas. The Texas Legislature needs more lawmakers like Ben Rose who will stand up for working people and our most vulnerable citizens. Ben Rose promises to fight for Texas state workers to ensure fair pay, affordable health care, secure pension plans, and fair treatment on the job.

The campaign is happy to have received the endorsement of TSEU – CWA Local 6186 and we look forward to working with them closely to ensure victory in November.
